First Holy Communion crucifix
As the Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies each gift explains, this stone was mined by the Israelites as early as 1000 to 2000 BC and was used to construct such historical religious sites within the Holy Land as the "City of Jerusalem", "King Solomon's Temple" and, in more recent times, the "Church of the Holy Sepulcher" (Jesus' burial place).
Today this treasured stone, quarried near Jerusalem and Bethlehem, is shipped directly to the United States from the Israeli port of Haifa. The stone is then cut, polished and hand crafted into this beatiful product.
"First Holy Communion" engraved in base of pewter pedestal crucifix (4.5" high), commemorates this blessed sacrament and comes in a gift bag with a certificate of authenticity.
