Understanding the Scriptures Course Edition
Understanding the Scriptures Complete Course presents the history of salvation in Sacred Scripture and shows how the covenants between God and his people in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New Covenant established by Christ. It investigates the books of the Bible and explains their relation to the teachings of the faith. The Two Testaments are shown to be one Revelation by God to his people. Teacher's Manual (1242 Pages; Hardcover) :is designed to help the instructor actively engage students in discussions, activities, and reviews that investigate the moral teaching of the Church and ways to apply it to the Christian life. It is a companion to the textbook Understanding the Scriptures: Semester Edition.

Semester Edition: (342 Pages; Hardcover) is an abridged edition of the same title in the Didache Complete Course Series. That edition has been granted ecclesiastical approval from the Archdiocese of Chicago, and it has been granted conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church by the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism.
Student Workbook: (240 Pages; Paperback) is an accompaniment to Understanding the Scriptures: A Complete Course on Bible Study; it allows the student to engage the Catholic Faith through compelling and meaningful exercises. Using combinations of multiple choice, fill in the blank, and short answer questions, the student recalls and applies concepts from the textbook to their own lives.
This Student Workbook has perforated pages so that students may turn in their work. It also includes a compilation of common Catholic prayers and devotions.
Parish Edition: (198 Pages; Paperback) is divided into individual weekly lessons intended to be covered over the course of one semester. The full-color, illustrated text provides ample column material, which includes Vocabulary terms, Focus Questions, Guided Exercises, Discussion Questions, and quotes from YouCat.
The Didache Semester Series is a series of high school textbooks, teacher's manuals, and student workbooks published by Midwest Theological Forum. Each title spans one academic semester. These titles have been developed according to the 2007 curriculum framework from the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism to assist in the publication of religious education textbooks for Catholic high schools.
