Wooden San Damiano Wall Cross 8"

As Saint Francis of Assisi prayed at the abandoned church in nearby San Damiano, the icon of Christ crucified spoke to him, saying "Francis, Go, rebuild My Church, which as you can see, is in ruins!" Fueled by a deep love, Francis began to restore the San Damiano church, but soon realized that he was also being called to rebuild the entire Body of Christ. This wooden San Damiano cross with a full-color image serves as a powerful reminder of the meaning of Christ's death and Resurrection, and is believed to be a "window to heaven" that allows us to connect with our unconditionally loving God and fulfill His call to build His Body on earth.
