St. Martin de Porres (1579–1639) was a Dominican lay brother from Lima, Peru, revered for his humble service as a barber, farm laborer, and infirmarian. Known for his universal compassion—extending to humans and animals alike—Martin practiced severe penances and was blessed with spiritual gifts including bilocation. He earned recognition for his wisdom in resolving family and theological matters, and remains a patron of barbers, public health, social justice, and racial harmony. Canonized in 1962, his feast day is November 3. Available in 8" x 10" or 11" x 14".
