Elizabeth of the Trinity: The Complete Works, Volume 1
by Elizabeth of the Trinity; Translated by Sister Alethia Kane
Elizabeth of the Trinity (Elizabeth Catez) was a modern mystic who joined the Carmelite order in 1901 at twenty-one and passed away five years later. Her spirituality, deeply rooted in the epistles of Saint Paul and the mystery of divine indwelling, has inspired many Christians. Volume One, sold separately, presents her major spiritual writings, including retreat notes "Heaven in Faith" and "Last Retreat," her renowned prayer "O My God, Trinity Whom I Adore," and an introduction with detailed commentary by editor Conrad De Meester, complemented by five pages of photographs (204 pages). Volume Two compiles all surviving letters from Carmel, addressed to loved ones, featuring diagrams, eight photos, and explanatory notes by Fr. Conrad De Meester. Anne Englund Nash’s translation captures the literary and spiritual essence of the original French texts in a clear, accessible style (400 pages). Both volumes are available in paperback.
