This book is about the charism of faith, the faith ""to move mountains"" as it is referred to in the gospels. Pat Collins indicates how this charism, mentioned in 1 Cor 12:9 and elsewhere in the New Testament, is different from other forms of trust. The nature, characteristics, and importance of this gift are examined by evaluating relevant texts in the Bible, the writings of the Church Fathers, the theology of Thomas Aquinas and the publications of modern charismatics.
